OFFICIAL: CHELSEA ANNOUNCE BINGX AS NEW TRAINING KIT SPONSOR

Cryptocurrency exchange BingX became an official Chelsea “partner” back in January, agreeing an (at least) 2.5-year sponsorship with the club, initially for the shirt sleeve (for the first six months), and then morphing into the training kit for the upcoming two seasons.

That change has now been made official, with the club announcing it this morning. The announcement, as well as the announcement of Marc Guiu’s signing, showcases some of our new training kit range, if you’re interested in those. The shirt with the abstract patterns that Guiu models is pretty cool.

The training range seems to also confirm that Infinite Athlete will be our next sleeve sponsor — though for now they are also continuing their front-of-shirt sponsorship since we’ve once again failed to secure a proper deal for that by the start of the fiscal year. The plan (supposedly) remains to find an actual front-of-shirt sponsor and keep IA on the sleeve, but maybe we can just plaster the entire shirt with multiple IA logos (may be better than whatever pattern Nike’s giving us for this year!) and collect $Eleventybillion from them. So long, PSR!

With BingX unveiled as the training kit sponsor, we say farewell to trivago, the goodest sponsor. Thanks for sticking by the club during the sanctions! (And thanks for my Florida trip to Chelsea training camp a couple years ago; the only tangible reward I’ve ever received from this blogging experience!)
